The Process

You can utilize training time to attend a program by following this process:

  1. Initiate contact with the Agency providing the training program and complete their application and intake process.

  2. Obtain proof of acceptance to the training program and complete an IOC addressed to your Assistant Chief (wellness unit personnel can provide a template).

  3. Upon completion of the training program, complete the post-program MIOS survey and internal training evaluation form.

  4. Submit your training program certificate of completion and a FWPD Course Evaluation to the Wellness Unit.
